After selecting North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, the New England Patriots traded back in the second round and drafted Washington wide receiver Ja'Lynn Polk.

Polk, 22, began his collegiate career at Texas Tech (2020) before transferring to Washington for the final three years (2021-23).

In 41 career games, Polk recorded 143 receptions for 2,231 yards and 18 scores.

With a clear need at wideout, New England has added a young weapon for their new quarterback.
